An opportunity of taking part in seminars, workshops, excursions and tours etc.
Submission of photographic entries to National and International Exhibitions.
Qualifying for the Associateship Distinction (ANPAS) and Fellowship Distinction (FNPAS) offered by The National Photographic Art Society of Sri Lanka.
Obtaining International Photographic Qualifications conferred by the International Federation of Photographic Art.

Types of Membership
Each year, within a specific period of time, NPAS offers membership to the successful applicants. All the applications received within the deadline will be considered carefully. Successful applicants will be interviewed and granted the membership. There are three types of memberships.
Membership
General Membership will be granted by the recommendation of an interview panel appointed under the responsibility of the Executive Director or Director Registrar.
Life Membership
Life membership will be granted under the consentient decision of the Director Board for the members who have been completed the membership consecutively for 5 years on written request to the Executive Director.
Honorary Fellowship
Honorary Fellowship of the NPAS (Hon.FNPAS) will be granted under the consentient decision of the Director Board for the people who have done the service to the society, photography or art.
